About the Role: 

We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented janitorial staff to join our commercial cleaning team in Calgary and Edmonton. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in office buildings, retail spaces, and other commercial properties. 

Responsibilities: 

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting 
• Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces 
• Empty trash bins and replace liners 
• Restock supplies as needed 
• Report any maintenance or safety issues 
• Follow safety and cleaning protocols 

Requirements: 

• Driver's license in good standing SIN Number and legally entitled to work in Canada.
• English speaking with a minimum CLB of 5. 
• Ability to work independently and in a team 
• Strong attention to detail 
• Must be reliable and punctual 
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks 
• Availability for evening and weekend shifts preferred

 Job Title: First & Second Year Plumber Apprentices Location: Edmonton,  Alberta Employment Type: Temp leading to full time after probationary period. 

Compensation:$ 20 to $24.00 depending on experience and ability

Job Summary: 

We are seeking motivated First and Second Year Plumber Apprentices to join our team. This role involves assisting journeyman plumbers with installations, maintenance, and repairs of plumbing systems while gaining experience and technical knowledge. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, follows safety procedures, and is committed to developing their skills in the plumbing trade. (2 Positions available) Responsibilities: 

Assist with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems (water supply, drainage, fixtures, etc.) 

Cut, measure, and assemble pipes and fittings according to specifications 

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings 

Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently 

Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean worksite 

Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing plumbing issues 

Support journeyman plumbers with tasks as needed 

Qualifications: 

Basic knowledge of plumbing tools, materials, and procedures 

Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50pounds) 

A clean criminal record check 

Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills 

Willingness to learn and follow instructions 

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation  

Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments 

On-Call Temporary Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Health Care Aides (HCAs)

Responsibilities

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs):

• Provide direct nursing care according to care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as required.
• Supervise Health Care Aides and ensure care standards are met.
• Monitor and document changes in client conditions.
• Collaborate with facility staff and management to ensure seamless care.

Health Care Aides (HCAs):

• Assist clients with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Support safe mobility and transfers.
• Monitor and report on client wellbeing.
• Respond to on-call shift requirements promptly.

Qualifications

General Requirements for All Applicants:

• Proficiency in English reading and writing.
• Clear Criminal Record Check (CRC) and CRNA check.
• Relevant Canadian healthcare experience.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel to North Edmonton and St. Albert.

Specific Requirements:

• LPNs:
  • Current registration and in good standing with the relevant licensing body.
  • Experience in supervisory roles within healthcare facilities.
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
• HCAs:
  • Completion of a recognized Health Care Aide program.
  • Facility-based caregiving experience is an asset.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Key Role Information

• On-call position to fill shifts on short notice due to call-outs.
